Motor Vehicle Review Committee
The Motor Vehicle Review Committee is an advisory committee to the Division of Fleet Operations.
About the Motor Vehicle Review Committee
The Motor Vehicle Review Committee is comprised of nine members, which include the executive director of the Department of Administrative Services, a member from a state agency other than, higher education, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Safety, or the Department of Natural Resources, who uses the division’ services, one member from higher education, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Safety, and the Department of Natural Resources, the director of the Division of Purchasing and General Services, and two public members appointed by the Governor.
The powers and duties of the Committee include the following:
- Advise the director about carrying out the director’s responsibilities;
- Review each administrative rule proposed by the division and make recommendations to the director about those rules;
- In conjunction with the director, make recommendations to the legislature about any amendments to statute needed to allow the division to fulfill its responsibilities.
